My twins are just getting over a nasty virus. They're still a bit fussy & miserable..

So you can imagine just how short their attention spans are..

I know I have to get them some new age appropriate toys, as they are wanting more stimulation then what their current toys are offering.

Today especially I'm finding it hard to keep them entertained..(well not hard if I put on a sesame street dvd or similar dvd) But I don't want them glued to the TV.

I was going to go out today, but they're still a bit fussy..and I don't think they'll 'behave' themselves in the stores...

So, what can I do with two 'not so well' toddlers'...

I have already crawled around with them...we have played with the blocks, I have read to them, we have sang some songs...Ds is walking all around & around...discovering..Dd just wants to be picked up if she sees me standing..

So what else can I do?

    Thanks
    Denise

How about a stroller ride outside or anything outdoors? Mine change their attitudes as soon as they see the sky.....? Just a thought.

I am one of those "bad moms" who thinks that every now and then some down time in front of the tv is necessary!!

Sometimes I will take my girls into another room. I bring toys up to their room, or open up my closet and let them explore.

When mine are sick or getting over it I do TV. Also mine love a trip to the store. They get out and have other things to look at. A trip out might help.
