Were doing it!

    I took some of your suggestions on pervious post and we are doing it. THEY ARE HOLDING THEIR OWN BOTTLES :a_smil09: This makes things so much better. It only has been a day but they are doing it. I hold it up for them and they grab it. It takes a minute for one of the boys to get it in but they do it. It is nice to have a free hand.

    Congratulations! I was so happy when my boys started holding their own bottles! They're still mastering it, too and they won't hold it if they're tired, but mostly, I can put them in their bouncies, hand them a bottle and do other things (like dishes and laundry and pay some attention to their older sister!) This for me has been the best "milestone" so far!! Way to go boys!!

    Isn't it great? I was happy when Aiden started doing it months ago so I'd have an extra hand while still feeding Conner. Like others have said, he wouldn't hold it when he was tired though.

    Just this past week, Conner is now holding his! YIPPEE! Sure, within a few weeks of us dropping bottles altogether, that little stinker! It's so nice just propping them in their boppies, handing them their bottles, & walking away! I don't do that at every feeding...only when I'm alone, except at bedtime because I rub 'em down while they drink to help them relax!

    People who don't have twins don't understand how AWESOME it is when their child holds their own bottle!!!!!!!!!!

    hahaha. Nice one babies!
    My DD loves holding her bottle. If I hold it she just holds on to my hands on both sides. So cute!
