From 84 degrees to 23 degrees, from sun to snow!

We had a great time, and everything went pretty smoothly taking everything into consideration. People were great at O'Hare and the flight there was smooth. We had a 2-bedroom suite and even though the layout was weird (all rooms seperated by doors from the next), the sleeping wasn't too bad although we tried to avoid all crying in order not to wake another one up. The twins were in bed by 7 pm ET (6 pm CT) and Maxine basically slept through the night (normally she only wakes at 5 or 5.30 am, but that was now 6 or 6.30 am) and Felix improved greatly, waking around 3 or 4 am ET instead of the normal midnight CT. We stayed in a very child friendly resort where we had 2 nannies, one for Sofie and one for the twins (every room gets one nanny, but you can get more if you like), so we actually read books, relaxed at the pool and had dinner by ourselves every single night. We still got to spend time with the kids, helping feed the twins with the nanny, but at least we had 2 extra pair of hands. The food and rooms weren't all that great but still decent (rooms were large though which is good with 3 kids) but the nannies made it all worth it. We met nice people, enjoyed the sun and got to leave the house, which was good. We flew back yesterday evening, the twins did OK, Sofie was a nightmare because she skipped her nap, was overtired and getting a little wired. It was no surprise after last year's 2 transatlantics, but still. Flight attendants (United) were great and extremely helpful. Flight was full of babies and kids so that helps too, it'a a vacation destination. However, I find this age (2-3 years) very hard with the long flights. Makes me not looking forward to our next transatlantic on May 4 with 3 kids this time.

Looks like a great trip! I've never heard of resorts that include nannies. What was the name of the place?
