Still no baby! BUT, I did lose my plug and am still losing it. don't know what that means or if labor is soon. AND, I FINALLY found an acupuncurist that will treat me! I'm going this afternoon, so *hopefully* they will be able to move things along. He still needs to descend some, isn't low enough yet to put enough pressure on my cervix. We tried walking all day yesterday. Walked the whole mall a couple of times. Nothing. Not even an INKLING of a contraction. I keep feeling like someone is sticking a knitting needle up my woo-ha, but other than that....... oh, and I tried the nipple stimulation yesterday too. Not with the breastpump, just manually, but eh, that also did not work. I didn't so much as get a hint of a contraction, and I know I was doing it right (at least from what I read) Who said wine in my other post??? Really??? That's all I need for a glass or two!! LOL Old wives' tale or not, a glass of wine sounds SOOOOO goood right now! I just came back from my pre-op appt. We're scheduled for Tuesday morning if nothing starts before then... I'm REALLY hoping for something to happen before then. I'm just hoping for enough contractions in an hour to warrant a trip to L&D. Once I'm there, maybe I can convince them to help things along with a SMALL amount of pitocin. Since I'm already 3+ cm dilated, I'm not as concerned about Pitocin as I was previously.
Sorry to hear that nothing is working so far! In my last pregnancy, I tried everything as well and then ended up being induced. I hope that baby comes soon!
