Well this is kinda cool

My C-Section is scheduled for June 20 - the day of the Summer Solstice - the longest day of the year! AND that means the girls will be born under the sign of the Twins, Gemini If we had scheduled much later, they'd be Cancer like my son

It's just kinda cool. Now I pray I make it the entire way and actually hit my 37th week on the 20th!

Well when I told her I wanted a C/S because I want tubal ligation, she was like "okay, do you want to do it the 19th or 20th?" I picked the 20th because I like dates that end in 0 and 5 I didn't realize what day I was "booking" at the time.

I need to ask her why she prefers to do sched C/S on teh 37th week as opposed to letting me go up to 38 weeks if I planned on vaginal. Either way, I trust her. If these babies are anything like their big brother, they will be pretty good sized children. TJ was 8lbs 15oz and I delivered at 39w6d. I was an 8lb baby too and my DH and I are both tall and big-boned people. Say both get to 7lbs by the 37th week - the fact that I would be carrying around 14 lbs of baby is frightening!!!

 

My original due date was 6/22, so I thought it was neat they would be Gemini's, too! It must be great to know when they are coming

Well you could say that, but now I fear I will go before then. I just want them to stay put as long as possible to avoid any or an extended NICU stay.
