Monday, I started having contractions about every 4 min (doctor measured with the fetal monitor), so after spending 3 or 4 hours in L&D, they sent me home on Procardia. Well that did SQUAT. So Wednesday, I went back to my OB and since I have a contraction any time I stand up, he told me I'm done working, and it's complete bed rest until further notice--aka, till I deliver these little girls!

So my OB also put me on terbutaline to tone down the contractions. The babies are doing great, though. The contractions have not caused me to dilate or efface or cause the babies any distress, so in that respect, we're doing great. Zoe is now at 1lb. 6 oz. and Payton is now 1lb. 10 oz. Heartbeats are great, too. They're moving around like champs! As the L&D nurse told me, I have "some very happy babies in there!"

Anyway, been trying to get used to this medicine, and I've just been too wiped out to get on the computer until now. Oh, I also got a call yesterday from the OB's office, and she said I passed the gest. diabetes test (woo-hoo!!!) but I now have anemia, so they put me on a high dose of iron (yuck!)

Hope everyone is doing great! Have an awesome weekend, ladies!

Sorry about the strict bedrest. It's hard, I have been there, but it's definitely best for the babies. Hang in there.

Bed rest is hard, but just hang in there. If you haven't already, I'd sign up for Netflix or something like it. I watched a lot of TV series while on bed rest and it really did help pass the time.

I go through the tv schedule for the week every Sunday and set the DVR to record new movies and some oldies that I haven't seen in a while. Then every morning, it's like Christmas pulling up the new recordings to see what's there. LOL

Just hang in there - it was hard, but not as hard as I was imagining and dreading beforehand. I wouldn't have made it without my DVR and the online game site Shockwave. Just keep reminding yourself it is SOOOO worth every minute!
