Well, it happened to me

I left DS on the bed for 30 seconds and he fell off right on his face. I had turned my back to help DD back to bed and I heard him crash I was trying to put him to sleep and thought he was sedated enough....yeah. It is a traumatic experience and I was all shakey for about a half hour. DS is ok. No bumps, no bruises, no broken bones. Thank goodness for that

 

:hug99: I'm glad he's okay! I think the first time (and the 2nd, 3rd, 4th....) is always harder on mama than on the kids!

Been there, done that too!! I think it only makes them stronger, right??? :huh: It definitely affected me more than him. Very scary though. Hope your night gets better :hug99:

Looks like the floor from now on! He'll get over it much faster than you. That guilt lingers for a LONG time!

I, too, have had a similar experience with one of the girls. I am still shaky a few months later.
