weird vision issue

O.k. I'm having this weird thing happen that I'm not even sure how to explain. I can "see" my pulse. When I'm really still my vision seems to blur for a split second every time my heart beats. I just took my blood pressure and it is fine: 107/57 pulse was 78. I am on bedrest, so I'm laying down most of the day. Do you think that may have something to do with it? Anyone else have this? It doesn't really bother me most of the time. I only notice it if I'm lying really still. Thoughts?

 

Hmmm. Well, your blood volume has really increased since the beginning of your pregnancy, so maybe that is causing you to feel it or see it? When I was pregnant with the twins, I could hear my heart beating in my ears, it drove me insane!

 

Once when I was pregnant with the twins I had a weird vision thing kind of like that, but it was due to dehydration.

This was totally me too. I could feel it lying down when I was trying to nap and it would literally keep me awake. I think its just the blood volume too. If you start seeing spots or your BP goes up then it could be some pre-e signs but you are in the hospital right so they will be monitoring that all the time.

 

No. I'm home. I mostly think I've become a hypochondriac since being put on bedrest. :lol:

I know I'm not dehydrated since I'm drinking about 80 oz. of water a day.
