So when I am laying down and then flex to sit up, my stomach looks like it has a peak in the middle. I guess a rounded off triangle would be the best description. I have heard, and think, it may be Diastasis recti. But from what I have read, it seems like that it just a thin ridge that pops up.
So if it is: Diastasis recti, is there anything I can start doing now (7 months) like massages that will make it less severe post birth? And if you have had it, has it healed itself?
    Thanks guys!!

My stomach was all kinds of weird shapes when I was pregnant with my girls. Definitely far from any sort of round shape. If you are concerned, you can always mention it to your Dr. next time you see him/her. I would try to avoid self diagnosing. It is only going cause increased stress levels and worry, and neither you or the babies need that.

Mine does that too- it never crossed my mind that there would even possibly be anything wrong with that. It doesn't stay that way.
Sometimes it's lopsided- not when I flex but when they decide to hang out on one side of my belly. Haha

I thought all pregnant bellies did this. Mine has in all my pregnancies. It's the abdominal muscle being split by the growing uterus. . Nothing you can do about it as it just takes some time to heal after you have the babies. When the uterus shrinks back it will not cone like that but you will be able to feel an open gap just above your navel when you do a crunch or sit up. That gap will shrink over time. There are some exercises you can do after you have the baby to make it come back together quicker. Plank , etc. Google it and I bet you will find it. I never did any special exercises before and it just healed on it's own.

I haven't experienced this, but my pre-natal yoga teacher has told us that we can help prevent diastasis by not using our abdominal or core muscles to sit up from a laying position. She said that causes too much abdominal pressure to those already stretched and strained muscles, which is a cause of diastasis. She suggests rolling to your side and using your arms to push yourself upright.

Mine did that too, with the twins and my singleton, which was my first pregnancy. I think it's natural.
