My babies are still very messy when they eat solids (7 months old) and they spit a lot back out. (Ya know when you have to keep scraping it off their faces and putting it back in) So anyway, when I was feeding the babies their cereal the other day I noticed that I was scraping the leftovers off Sarah's face and feeding it to Rachael and vice versa...I was like oh...I guess that's kinda gross!! Although I do feed them with the same spoon.... I just thought that was kinda funny!

I don't know why, but picturing this made me laugh a little. I think we are all a little gross unwittingly at times. Mine share paci frequently, mostly because I refuse to keep track of who had what paci. Whatever, they shared my womb, they can share a paci.

My two have always eaten from the same spoon, often drink from the same cups, and also if I give them both anything to eat on their own (cookies, rice cakes, etc) they will swap those back & forth too. I figure if one of them gets sick, they are both going to get it anyway, so :pardon: .

We do the same thing!!! I know my MIL was totally grossed out when she saw me scrape Rhys face clean with the spoon and feed the scrapings to Owen last night.....I don't even think I realized what I was doing until she noticed...

I am also guilty of this one - but I agree with pp's - if they shared a womb they can share a spoon and if one of them is going to get sick so will the other.

Yup.. I do the same thing but they will share paci and im sure if one is going to get sick the other will do. It just saves time to scrape one face and feed the other :p, and im all about saving time :D

My MIL saw me do that too and I think still think she thinks it is gross. I was like if I had to use two seperate spoons and bowls I would be here forever, it takes long enough as it is. I justified to her by saying well I nurse them and it is not like I am going to disifect my boobs after every feeding. what ever is easiest!

That is so funny! I am just realizing now that I am doing the same thing and I didn't even think that some people would think that is gross. It is kind of gross when you think about it but I will keep doing it...
