so i had a weird conversation with a colleague last night:

Guy: "how are the babies doing?"
Me: "good! but they're not babies anymore. i think i'm going to have to have another one soon!"
Guy: "oh, don't do that! really, are you serious?"
Me: "yeah, we definitely would like to have another - although maybe just one at a time."
Guy: "oh man. i was so done after two. did you have a girl & a boy?"
    Me: "no, two girls."
Guy: "ahhh! so you want a boy?"

what? :unknw: i swear sometimes people just don't think.

I "love" it how people just like to infer their viewpoint onto a conversation with me!

congrats on thinking of having another!

It's just amazing how people love to plan your family for you. I can't tell you how many people at work (who know how old I am, so they should really know better) keep asking me when I'm going to have a girl. Sheesh. Or even worse, the people who say "two boys, wow it's too bad you didn't have a boy and a girl; that would have been perfect". <_<

I think some people need to have the filter between their brain and mouth checked :headbang:

    Agreed!

I cannot believe all of the comments I've received since telling everyone we are pregnant. Oh, the things people come up with. :slap:

99 % of the time I get "oh a girl and a boy, you are lucky you are done",
yes, I am done but it was regardless if I had a b/g or not...plus,
what is it their business anyway?
I don't like those comments even though I don't want anymore,
    and I'm happy that I have b/g but what if I didn't... I woudn't be "lucky"?

i've gotten the "a girl and a boy would have been perfect" comment occasionally. um... i've got two boys and that's pretty perfect for us thankyouverymuch. i've also gotten a ton of comments about how having twins is perfect because it means you get your whole family done in just one pregnancy. i end up having to explain that i only intended to have one child so my family would have been done either way.
