Okay, so maybe I'm not so bright, but how do you figure out the difference in weight by percent? My babies are only an ounce apart (1 lb. 10 oz. and 1 lb. 11 oz. yesterday) so no worries, but I was just wondering for future ultrasounds (in case the difference increases).

I cant think of how to do it right now but it has to be done in grams and not lbs and ozs. Maybe my brain will start to work and I'll remember [IMG]

i would say that you could convert it to oz. your babies measured 26 and 27 oz., so if you divide 26/27, you'd get 96, which would convert to less than a 4% difference. today, my babies were 4 lbs. 15 oz. and 4 lbs. 1 oz. the sonographer said it was a 17% difference after she went to another machine that calculated the measurements more accurately. the math comes out to under 18%.

my dr. said that below a 20% difference was fine, and the sonographer said that figure applies to identical twins, or twins sharing a placenta, so the difference doesn't really matter. i guess i'll believe my dr. though. [IMG]

i hope that helps! there is probably an easier mathematical way to figure it out though. [IMG]
