Hi everybody. We have 2 pack and plays that the girls have slept in when away from home before. We haven't used them since summer, but will be spending the Christmas holidays at my parents and plan to use them. Does anyone know what the usual weight limit is? One has a manual so I will confirm later (it is with the P&P at my parents') and the other is second hand from a friend - but is a standard Graco pack and play. Thanks.

Our pnp's have a weight limit of 30lb. I think you should be able to look at the graco website and see what it is.

Thanks. I found mine on the website. It gives a height limit and says for kids that can't climb out, but it doesn't give a weight limit for the P&P itself - just 15lbs for the bassinet and 25lbs for the change table. (unless I'm missing something)

One of my girls just squeaks in under the 30lb mark so, if she doesn't grow too much by Christmas we will hopefully be ok. My other girl still has plenty of room to grow. I will have to check heights, though. I have NO idea how tall they are - especially in inches.

I remember my nephew sleeping in his P&P when he was 2 years + so I thought we had longer, but then again he was a little guy.

Ours says 40lbs on the bottom of the PNP.

My girls STILL use them since they are 28 & 30 lbs. They can climb out---but dont.

my boys are a bit over 30 lbs. and Paul sleeps in it daily for naps. (the boys sleep together at night, but I separate them for naps so they each can get what they need. )

Evan is 33 lbs and sleeps in a pack and play every day for his nap and sometimes at night. I don't worry too much about the weight limit - I'm sure I'll have some advance warning of imminent collapse!

Mine still used pack and plays for travel up until a few months ago. They were well over 30 lbs and could easily climb in and out, but they slept just fine in them. We stopped using them at the same time they switched to big beds at home.

Now when we travel (which is not much) we tend to set them up on the floor, since they will both roll out of a bed if it doesn't have rails on it.

I am not sure what the weight limit is, but Amy's still napping in hers at 3 years (almost) and ~28 lbs. I think the bigger danger is that the kids will learn to climb out of them, but she has never tried to (even though I'm sure she could do it easily at this point).

They would be very difficult to collapse at the bottom due to weight so I'd guess the limit is very high, if it exists at all. My girls used theirs until just over 2 years old, when they learned to climb out.

I scrunched up in there a couple of times when traveling with a sick & antsy kid as well and never had a problem.

My husband cut a thin piece of plywood to fit in the bottom under the "mattress" to stabilize the pack n plays, just in case. It works great. I put both of them in there when I need a few minutes to do something, eat lunch , laundry, etc. Seems very stable for both in there. We have SUV, so when we travel, plywood lays nicely in back on floor. Not sure if that would work as far as vehicle space goes for you.
