Hi!! Sorry its been so long, but with 5 kids lol.....its hard to get on here!

My twins' Dr is suggestion one is getting overweight. At birth Jasmine was 3lb 8 oz and Jillian was 4lb 9oz. They have done very well, they were 5weeks, 1 day early. Now, Jasmine weighs 10 lb 1oz and Jillan weighs 12lb 7oz. Is that really that bad?

If I had a Doctor saying my 3mth old was over weight, I would find a new Doctor. <_<

If you are feeding them when they are hungry - they are fine & I wouldn't give it another though.

um that is so not bad at all! time for a second opinion. my girls are a tad younger than yours and both are 12lbs. my doctor told me that they were in the 25 percentile. that's really poor advice and i think your twins are doing great!

My exclusively breastfed 2 month old weighed in at 12lbs!!!! She's a chunky monkey!!! But my doctor never suggested that she was overweight. At this age, it's just feed when they are hungry!

Time to start a new pedi search. Every ounce my kids gained was a celebration. One of my friends boys was 20lbs at 5 months. He was over the 100 percentile. His dr. didn't say anything about being over weight.

Congrats on getting those peanuts up to that much! Starting so low I know what a struggle that is.

I agree that's crazy, as long as they are following their own curve then they aren't "overweight"! @@ Sounds like they are very healthy and doing great!

At 2 months my dd was 10.15, and my ds was 10.2, so I'm sure by now they are over 12 lbs each! :D
