I am 34 weeks tomorrow and so far have gained 9-pounds. I am measuring at 42 weeks and go for a growth scan tomorrow to check on babies. Just wondering if anybody else has had low weight gain?

At 22 weeks I'm still down 8 pounds from where I started. My docs are not worried as long as my girls are growing!

I gained a total of 14 lbs I think it was during my pregnancy. Mine were born at 36w3d and were 5 and 5.8 lbs, no NICU time. As long as they are growing well, that's all that matters!

it took me almost all the way up to this point to put on consistant weight. unlike my singletons, it seemed like i always gained. i am 25 weeks and have gained 20 lbs now! THANK GOD! i was soooo worried cuz at first i kept loosing. but now mine just pops outta nowhere. in just 3 days i gained 3 lbs. YAY! as long as the babies are fine then it shouldnt really matter! (i dont think) GOOD LUCK! :D

I will be 35 weeks tomorrow and have only gained around 10 pounds. The dr. doesn't seem too concerned becasue my belly is getting bigger! I even went two consecutive weeks with weight loss (a total of 11 pounds) recently.

As long as belly is growing and they look okay at scan time, I don't think weight loss is that big of a concern to the dr's.

I gained a total of 23 pounds and I delivered at 38.2 weeks as a scheduled c-sec. the babies were 6'1 and 6'5. i lost all the weight before i left the hospital. as long as babies are growing thats all that matters. the weight is for you so that you don't lose too many nutrients. the babies will suck everything out of you whether you eat a lot or not.

I lost weight in the first three months, and slowly worked my way back up to my starting weight. I think I was about 10lbs over my original weight at 34 weeks also; well maybe a little more, but I must have gained like 20 lbs in the last month. It was mostly water, too.

I had only gained about 20 pounds, and the babies were 6lb 5oz and 7lb 8oz... I was drinking high protein Slimfast shakes to get more calories to the babies. (first time I ever wanted MORE calories! )

Good luck on the growth scan!

Growth scan today at exactly 34-weeks showed Baby A at 5pds 8oz and Baby B at 5pds 2oz - I actually gained two pounds from last week, so total of 11 pounds weight gain and babies are getting big! I'm hoping to get to at least 36-weeks!!
