What is the average weight gain wtih twins?

I have only gained one pound so far and I am 14 weeks.
I eat all the time......almost every 2 hours. This seems to help keep the nausea down.

I actually lost weight until week 30 or so, but I was overweight to begin with, so my OB said it was fine.

That's about right..."they" want you to gain 24 pounds by 24 weeks.

For me, I gained about a pound a week until I got to 20 weeks...then, in one month I gained...TWELVE POUNDS. Granted, we were really busy and eating out A LOT, so that wasn't helpful...now I'm tapering back down and gaining closer to 1.5-2 pounds per week the last few weeks. All total, I'm at 39 pounds and 29 weeks pregnant. Yuck. But, I'm not too worried, I lost the weight from my pregnancy with DS pretty easily (from nursing) so I'm hoping it's similar this time around too...besides, you can always lose weight, you can't re-cook your babies!

I have gained approx. 25 pounds, and I am 27 weeks along. I was overweight to begin with, and didn't gain hardly anything in the first trimester. But, it seems like the last two months I have packed it on!

i gained 36 lbs total but this basically all came AFTER 20 weeks. I totally did the opposite of what Dr.Luke and all those dr.'s recommend and everythign turned out just fine! I ate all the time but Ipuked all the time too, hence no weight gain in the beginning!

I had gained 24 lbs at the 36 week point. But within the last week I gained 4 lbs!!! My eating habits didn't change, but my feet did... I think all 4 lbs are in my feet!

Each person is different with weight gain depending on body type and whether you are underweight, overweight, etc before. General rule of thumb is 20 lbs by 20 weeks. I have gained maybe 15 and am 24 weeks but babies are doing great and that's what's important.

I had gained 65 pounds with each of my first two pregnancies (singletons), but only gained about 24 with the twins' pregnancy. (and about 14 of that was baby!) I lost a few pounds during the first trimester.

I am 32 weeks and have gained 18lbs. Each twin is weighing in at 4 lbs right now. My ob said she didn't care that I wasn't gaining a lot as long as the twins were.

    I am ALL belly!

With my singletons (the ones that went to term) I always gained at least 20 lbs- with my first I gained 60!
This time, I'm 27 weeks and only up about 6 lbs. I'm still carrying around most of the weight from my first, so the OB hasn't said anything about my lack of weight gain. I didn't put on weight until about 22 weeks.
