weight at almost 6 months

my girls are about a week shy of 6 months.. am just curious what other babies weigh at this age?

 

I had 2 boys and they were well over 20 lbs by that time.

 

See my siggy..I think both were between 17 and 18 lbs. They were pretty big when they were born. According to my ped Mark's weight was average and Eli's was below average.

It's interesting because Eli dropped from 90% in weight to below the 50% in just two months.

 

hmm @ 6 months my twins were at the 20lb mark

 

My little guys were more like 15pounds.

 

My girls weighed in at 16lbs give an ounce or two. Not premies.

 

it's in my sig - my girls are kind of on the small side compared to others, but are on a good curve compared to themselves.

 

Mine were 16lbs 10oz and 17lbs 7oz at almost six months.

 

At 5 months 2 weeks my girls weighed about 14.5 and 17 lbs. Not sure how accurate though, we weighed ourselves first, and then us with our girls. The same scale once showed DH weighing less with his shoes on :wacko:

 

mine weigh 15 and 13 now.

 

Mine are on the small side, too, but growing well according to pedi. DS is in the 20th%, just over 16 lbs at 6 months, and DD is 10th%, about 14 1/2 lbs.

 

At 6 months, my peanuts were near 13 and 13.5 pounds.

 

My twins (34 weekers) were 14 lb. 8 oz and 15 lb. 14 oz.

Olivia (full-term) was 20 lb. 4 oz.

 

My son was nearly 17lbs and my daughter was off the weight chart at 21lbs!! She was also in the 90th percentile for height though, so it looks like she is doing a lot of her growing early like I did as a bub.

 

My boys were 17' 11 and 18' 6 at 6 months

 

We haven't had our 6 month check up yet so we don't know for sure. But I stood on the scale with them a few weeks ago and they were both over 19 lbs

 

All my kids were in the 16 lb range at 6 months!

 

My boys were on the skinny side at 6 months (and still are... ;-) at 15 and 15.4 lbs. They are bf and eat all the time (plus a ton of solids, now), but they are just super energetic and have a metabolism just like DH and his family (why wasn't I so lucky??).

 

Good Question, I was wondering the same thing. My babies were on the smaller side the last time we went. They were lighter than I expected but the Dr. was not concerned. They were 14lbs and 9 oz. and the other was 14l bs- That was at 5 month check up.

They nurse all the time and went nuts for solids when I introduced them. They are doing 3 solid meals a day. I dont know what they weigh now but would like to know. Our next appt. is at 7.5 mos. We are off schedule due to delayed vaccine schedule.

 

Wow, you all have some big babies! Our twins were 15+ and 16 (exactly) pounds at their 6 month check up.
We were thrilled! The doctor showed us the chart and they are moving straight up, just as they should be
and both were in the 50th percentile, one 55 in height.

Anyway, now I'm wondering if our twins are small. We are both tall, I'm about 5'10 and the twins came early at
35+ weeks.

My twins are 7 months /5 1/2 adjusted and my DS weighs 12lbs 13oz and DD weighs 16lbs 3oz....................at birth they were 2lbs 11oz(DD) and 4lbs (DS)
