i'm just curious what your LOs weighed at a year old (plus some bonus questions). my girls are about a week and a half away from turning 1 & haven't cracked 20 lbs yet. don't get me wrong - i'm not worried at all, they're on their own great growth curve (heck, Riley's quadrupled her birth weight in a year), but i'm just wondering what the 'average' is.

Logan was Baby A and was 4 lbs 3 oz at birth and 23 lbs at one year. Mason was Baby B and was 5 lbs 5 oz at birth and was 24 lbs at one year. There has always been right at a 1 pound weight difference between them. Just wanted to add too though they are now 18 months and have each only gained a little over a pound since the one year mark.

Alice (A) was 20 pounds at her one year, Royce (B) was 21 pounds.

When born, Alice was 4#, 14 oz, Royce was 5# 4 oz.

I think you should add a height question in there as well. :)

My baby A, Eli has always been bigger in terms of clothing sizes, but there was a period of time where Mark got ahead of Eli as you can see from my siggy. But Mark is a totally freak of nature and he's all muscle, so he was smaller and weighed more. Eli has always been taller than Mark.

They were both in the 22-23 lb range, according to my doctor 22 lbs is about average and 23 lbs is about 75%. Now what I'd really like to see is how that compares to other twins, and I'm not aware of a growth curve for twins.

39 weekers weighed 5'12oz and 6'1oz at birth, at 1 yr Baby A was 19 pounds and B was 18'3oz. Both hovering around 10%... They'd gotten up to 50% during months 1-4 then slowly decreased in their percentile... they are very active little ones and running all over the place. like you said we're not worried... just still able to enjoy our car carriers & double snap & go!

At 1 year Baby A (Emilie) was 16 lbs. and Baby B (Trevor) was 19 lbs 3 oz. Trevor weighed more at birth. He has always been about 3 pounds heavier than Emilie (though he was not that much bigger at birth).

Ok, this poll is a little odd because my understanding was that Baby A's usually weigh more than Baby B's.

Wow, who had the 27lb plus, babies. Those are some big kiddies.

My girls were born at 30w4d and weighed ounce for ounce the same (2 pounds, 13 ounces). The doctors and nurses continually commented about how odd that is. Anyway, Baby A (Annelise) weighed 16 pounds, 2 ounces at one year. Baby B (Karina) weighed 15 pounds, 11 ounces at one year. Annelise still weighs about half a pound more than Karina at 18 months.

Mines were 5.9 and 5.6 pounds at birth. They are now 24 and 23 pounds a piece. My DS has always been about a pound heavier. He was the first to be born also.
