Hey bedrest girls!!! Hope everyone is hanging in there!!!
I'm still in hospital bedrest (8 weeks & 2 days so far). They said I may go home at 34 weeks, which is next week Saturday! I'm not really getting my hopes up though, I just have a gut feeling that I will be here until I deliver. Well.....I had my 32 wk US today! Baby A (Lacey) HR was 144, weighed 4lbs 8 ozs, Baby B (Kahden) HR was 148 , weighed 4lbs 3 ozs! They are getting so big! Both fluids look great and they are still both head down!!!! My cervix shortened a bit more to 1.2cm and I started dilating, I'm 1cm. My doctors said they wouldn't try to stop labor after 34 weeks, so we will see what happens. I want to keep them 'cooking' until at lease 36 weeks though!

Congrats on 32 weeks!! That's awesome! I had a cupcake party when I made it to 32 weeks. You should get a special desert or something if you can!

To give you encouragement, I was on hospital bedrest for a short cervix from 22wks until 35wks. I ended up coming home for a week and I did make it to 36 weeks! I think the last measurement they got before I was released was .9!

Hey I'm in the exact same boat! I will be 34 weeks on Saturday and the doctor said that we may go home but that was weeks ago and he hasn't said anything since. But I have no cervix left and am dialated to a 3. So hang in there cause I know we can do it!

You're doing great! Way to bake those babies! I spent over 8 weeks in the hospital before my boys were born and I hated every moment of it. Just remember that the hospital stay will be a distant memory once you're home with your little peanuts.

Today makes week 9 in the hospital and I was told I'm here until I deliver for sure! The blood tests results came back ok, but the 24 hour urine showed some protein so they say I have mild pre-eclampsia. They are weighing me everyday, to make sure I'm not retaining too much fluid (2lbs or more in a day or 7lbs in a week is what I think they said would be bad), they are doing non-stress tests on the babies every other day to make sure they are doing ok, had the first one yesterday and they both did great! I asked about a low or non-sodium diet and they gave me a special menu to order from....the food is blah and there's not much to choose from but if it helps the babies I'm doing it!!! I'm still on procardia...it's doing double duty right now, keeping my uterus calm and keep my BP's down....or as down as they will get I guess. They said if I get to 36 weeks they will take me off of it and if I make it to 37 weeks they will deliver me then. A few of the things they said that would make them deliver me now are if my BP was in the 160's/100's because that can cause sesiures, also if I developed placenta previa or if there was something else going on with the babies and of course if my symptoms worsened. For now everything looks ok and I am really hoping to get all the way to 37 weeks, I guess I shall see what happens!!! Anyway just wanted to update you guys on what was going on. Hope all of you guys are doing great! Thanks for all of your support!!!!

You're doing great! I spent 8 weeks in the hospital and it's more difficult than people think (my DH apparently thought it was a luxury hotel stay for me and still teases me about it). You've got great weights on your babies and sounds like you'll all come through with flying colors!

    Keep 'em cooking!

Sounds like you are doing a great job! I thought being at home on bed rest was miserable and can't imagine being in the hospital. Good luck to you!!!
