So, last night was the big switch! We also moved them to another room, so it was a big transition. They went to bed at 7:00, but didn't fall asleep until 9:30, which I was expecting. Yes, there was lots of playing, but nothing too bad, it was just the newness of it. I'm hoping the novelty will wear off and they will stay in bed. We did peek in on them after we were sure they were asleep, and they looked so cute, so small in these big beds.

Glad it went so well. I remember looking at them in that big bed thinking, "where are my little babies?"

Did you go to toddler beds, or straight to twins?

    I'm glad it went smoothly.

Straight to twin beds. We got bunk beds, but have them seperate for now, with a bed rails.

Cool, I was curious. We plan on going straight to twin beds around age 3, maybe slightly earlier depending on how potty training is going.

Kelly, glad to hear it is going well so far. We switched Emilie to a bed over the weekend since she has climbed out of her crib 2 times, and it's going well so far too. :)

Great!! Big Kid beds are harder on the parents then on the babes. I bet they will do great!

so how did naps go today?

after all the playing last night, they still slept in their beds (i.e., didn't fall asleep on the floor or in each others' beds)? that seems like a good sign!

Nap didn't go that great, they just played, but I kind of expected that. They only nap about half the time nowadays anyway.
