we need tights

I just decided that I am putting my girls in their Easter dresses for their 6 month pictures on Monday. So...I am on a desperate search for good tights. The few pairs I have bought from Target, Babies R Us, WalMart, and Carter's aren't form fitting and just kind of hang off of them. I'm sure most of you know what I mean. Target has cotton tights that fit close to their legs and even have a normal foot but they are so heavy I don't want to put them on with these dresses.

Has anyone tried tights at Gymboree, Children's Place, Sears, JC Penney..anywhere else? Are the type I bought the only type out there for this age (ICK!)? TIA!

 

Norah is skinny and the JC Penney and Sears tights are way too big on her legs. Walmart their organic George line fits Norah very well. Maybe you can try those?

 

I have bought some at Children's Place; however, they were a little thicker. This was back before Christmas. You may have better luck buying some thinner ones now.

 

We've used tights from The Children's Place, and they worked out well. They used to have some that had what looked like shoes woven into them. Meggie wore those her first Christmas. Kohl's also had some good ones.

 

Children's place work the best!!! I have talked to others who agree, they fit the best, don't roll, are durable etc. I have tried others and these fit the best I think we have them in every color.

 

I received some hand-me-down's from Children's Place & they were the best! Gillian has really skinny legs & fanny, and they fit her well.

 

Do you have H&M over there? They have the very best tights for children you can get here, I think.

Helen - I think there is an H&M in NYC but I don't know of one around me (Boston). Thanks for the suggestion though!

 

I found a whole bunch of tights at the Dollar Tree.

 

The Children's Place tights worked great! They were so adorable and so happy when we got there to have their pictures taken. AND THEN...they were behind 25 minutes so our window of happiness SHUT! One of my girls remained ok while I was practically begging the other one to do anything but fuss.
