We Need sleep!

DD is 25 months old and for the past couple of weeks, she has been waking up screaming a few times a night....and wont go back to sleep, I winde up putting her in bed with me to get some sleep (I know bad move)her naps have shortened (by her doing) she just isnt the same little princess that she was before she got the stomach flu on her 2nd birthday!!!!....Im kinda thinking its her 2nd year molars, her gums are pure white and DS allready got one of his in....I did take her to the Drs. for my own benefit to make sure she didnt have sore throat or ear infection.....she was perfectly fine....Oh and she is not really eating either!!!

 

It could be night terrors and teething. Alice's started right before she turned 2. Have you given her Motrin or Tylenol for the teething?

 

I really dont think there night terrors, But I could be wrong.....and she does get Motrin at night along with orajel!!!!!

 

Another suggestion, have you tried teething tablets? Those have helped my two with teething (along with Motrin). Hope you all are sleeping well soon :hug:

 

I found going into the 2 yrs. my daughter had these and they were terrible. We finally had to just ignore her all night long and it was a LONNNNNNGGG night. Otherwise she would get into bed and think it was fun time. It took a couple of nights and yeah we felt guilty but luckily my dh and I encouraged each other each night to stick it out. One night my parents were at our house and I'm sure they thought we were awful parents but since they were there for 2 months they really saw the results of that one night.
