we made the switch to big kid beds

Well we did it. my mom took the twins yesterday while we took down cribs and put up the twin beds.
They were very excited when they saw them and played on the beds for about 2 hours before dinner.
we ate dinner late as it took a while to put the beds together. and layed with the twins for a little bit. of course as soon as we left i could hear them walking around and laughing.
i did put up a gate on the door to there room so they could get out of bed but not out of there room.
they turned the light on a few times and DD cried once when her blanket fell out of the bed and she could not find it.
but overall they did Great!!! i think i was around 11pm when it got really quiet in there. DD fell asleep first and DS not long after (once there was no one to play with.)
They got up at the normal time 7:30am
i know tonight could be a totally different story but so far i am happy with how they are going.
Just hoping for another good night tonight

Wow, that's good. i am still scared to switch mine into beds but I am glad that its possible at this age.

I think this is going to go well. I think it's really great to have the gate on there!! I wish I had done that!!! Hopefully they were SO tired the 2nd night they passes out!!! :hug:
