We made it!

    Well I want to thank everyone for all your help this first year... it has been crazy but we made it!!

    For their party there was a very high anxiety level... this being the first birthday party that I have ever thrown and on top of my 50 adult guests and 25 kids (newborn to 14) it actually went pretty well. They both did absolutely wonderful considering all the commotion and all... they were passed all over the place from person to person and barely made a peep. That and they fell asleep amidst all the noise and craziness.... while we were eating... perfect timeing!!!

    The biggest news though is Peyton's perfect timing... he took his first steps... to me of course, at the party!! How wonderful!! There is no way we will ever forget that one!! Austin wasn't quite feeling himself or I'm sure he would have followed suit.... He actually had a busy week with a trip to the ER due to a temp of 104!! But all is well. He had an upper respiratory infection as well as his throat and ears!! Poor little guy. What a way to start a whole new year!

    Again I want to thank everyone for all the crazy advice that I've needed, or for just giving me a place to vent my frustrations... I'll miss you all but I will see you in the 1-4 forum!! I may even pop back from time to time to offer my little tidbits of advice, now that I am an official survivor of the first year with twins!! ;)

    Oh yeah and party pictures to follow... our digital camera died and we ended up putting disposables on all the tables.. which worked well because with all the running around that we were doing there would have been little to no chance of us actually getting any good pictures...lol
