We made it to one!

Well, we made it to one! My girls turned one last Saturday! We had a really fun party at a local pizza place. There were about 40 people there and the girls did amazing the entire time. Of course they are little social butterflies - they love being around people and are never (not yet anyways) in bad moods in those situations. They ate pizza, had cake, then did the presents. We were there for 2 1/2 hours. They even went home and played more and were in great moods. We just had the best day! I will try and get some pics up tonight.

Time just flew by. It seems like yesterday I delivered them. I remember the first two months thinking - what did we just do - what were we thinking! Anyways, I want to let all of you new moms know that it really does get easier and really does become fun. I know everyone is different, but for us it started to get better about 3 months because they started sleeping thru the night for the most part. Then at 6 months they started really becoming fun and they are more and more fun every day now.

Both have started walking around 11 1/2 months. Madison walks everywhere. Claire is still just taking a few steps at a time but has a blast and thinks she's really cool taking those couple of steps. They love rides in the wagon and the new B.O.B stroller. They love going out to dinner or shopping and to the park. They have been eating table food since 9 months and only eat that now. They are doing great with the sippy cups and we are still doing a bottle at night. We are trying to only give them the pacifier also only for naps and bedtime and they are doing great with that also.

Anyways, enjoy every minute because it does fly by and when you have a bad day remember that tomorrow is a new day.
