We lost baby B :( ***Loss mentioned***

Our 12 wk ultrasound today was very bittersweet. Baby A was jumping all around, good strong heartbeat, measuring perfectly. But sadly, baby B has passed away. My husband and I are in total shock. We weren't expecting this at all. My body has basically already almost absorbed the other baby and they don't believe there will be any risk to the remaining baby. It all sounds so cold and clinical. After spending the past 4 weeks getting used to the idea of twins, now we've got to come down off this cloud. It's so depressing. I want to be excited for my baby that is still with us, but I'm so so very sad I'll never get to meet his/her twin.

I felt the same way when I miscarried one- that it was clinical and cold- there was no emotion. I'm so sorry you lost B.

I am so sorry for your loss and I understand completely. Be encouraged, we lost our Baby B in much the same way. You may feel fear and sadness for months to come, I won't lie. I'm so sorry! I lost a baby at 14 weeks, after already hearing it's heartbeat a month earlier. It's devastating, I know.

I'm happy that things are going well for your other baby and pray that you have the peace and happiness you need right now.

 

I'm so sorry. I can't even imagine getting this news. Thoughts are with Baby A that he/she continues to grow and be strong and healthy.

 

I'm sorry for your loss. It's always so hard to lose a baby, no matter the situation. It's okay to mourn this baby even as you celebrate the growth of his or her twin. I'll be praying for both of your babies.

I am so sorry for your loss. This is about the time we found out our first set went from 3 to 2. My Dr treated it all like it was nothing, baby c was absorbed and the rest of my pregnancy went well. I pray the same is true for your growing blessing inside.
