We have teeth!!!!!!

Finally! They have been going through cranky spurts for the last 3 months. I kept thinking it was teething and a tooth never popped up. So the last 2 days Haley has been super onry (sp) but I just assumed it was because she was getting over a cold. Last night we were at our my in laws and she had a holy mother fit. While she was flailing around I saw a white flash in her mouth. I wrestled her tongue out of the way and low and behold, finally a reason to cry. I checked Gracie when she woke up and the opposite lower tooth is broken though on her. I know I should be happy! Its a big milestone. But it makes me really sad and DH doesn't understand. They are also probably within a week of crawling and I'm not excited about that either. It just makes me sad. They are growing up so fast.

Anyway, just wanted to share the news.

 

Teefies!!! Yay! The crabbiness usually goes away until the molars start coming in when they're 2.

I know what you mean about them growing so fast. I was looking at my 7 yr old today and it occurred to me that my tiny baby is now a "real person" that can walk and talk and has his own taste in movies and music. He can choose between right and wrong and sometimes even practices basic hygiene. Someday, my 2 little babies will be that big, it's so weird to think about!

 

I know how you feel!! I do want them to reach these milestones
but it is sad too!! I can't stand it when people tell me how big the twins have gotten!!! NO!! they are my little babies!!!
I am so glad that they are growing so well but it seems like time is flying and the next time I blink they will be grown!!

DS popped a tooth yesterday too!!! And he rolled over from back to belly and back again. 2 huge milestones in one day...I felt sad too...growing up too fast! I think DD is about to cut a tooth soon too as she is super cranky and has a horrible diaper rash that came out of nowhere.

 

Congrats on the teeth Haley and Gracie !!

I think it's neat they cut the opposite teeth. Jackson and Hannah did the same thing. I know what you mean about them growing up so fast . It seems like yesterday we were all pregnant posting in the expecting forum.

 

Woo Hoo! They'll be eating steaks soon! LOL
