My little girl is growing up. I just felt her gums and the bottom jaw at the front it all jagged. She has 2 teeth coming in.

They are growing up. :-( :) I am happy and sad!

So because I have no clue about these things, do they still hurt her or are we past that? Also, how long before the teeth are fully in and showing?

Yay for the teeth :D Some babies teeth very well and others not so much. I think the best way to tell if they are bothering them is how much they are chewing on things (bottle, hands, toys, etc) and by how fussy they are. Dd was a champion teether and the only way I ever knew she was teethng was by looking in her mouth. Ds on the other would get a fever, chew on his hands, get very fussy, runny nose, etc.

Last week she was waking at 3am crying. I had no idea why but I gave her tylenol as that seemed to help. I guess it was teeth! :) This little girl is ahead of her brother in everything! Poor little guy!

Teeth are so cute! I cried when my DS broke his first one! I felt like you did, like he was growing up! Now he's got 7 teeth, with his 8th coming in! My DD has 2, and the first one of the top just broke through! Wait till you see them with a mouth full of teeth, like my DS. He looks like a little man!

As far as teething goes, I got LUCKY! Jake had all 4 top teeth came in at the same time, and if I hadn't seen them, I never would have knows. Granted, he chewed on a lot of stuff, but he wasn't cranky and it never bothered his sleep. When Hailey first broke her tooth, she had a couple middle of the night wakings where we gave orajel or tylenol and she went right back to sleep. I think it happened once a night for 2 nights and that was it.

It depends on the kiddo... Ana was sick when she cut her two bottom teeth so I have no idea if the cranky was from being sick or from the teeth. She has her third coming in on top and I would have never known if I hadn't stuck my finger in her mouth (I do daily teeth checks for them both- we are still waiting for Meara to have just one!). It takes awhile for them to grow up and show. You'll probably see a little bit of them in a week or so. Now Ana's are getting so long she better get top ones quick to stop the bottom ones from growing!!!
