We have Sitters!

Both girls are sitting up now!! Ashley does much better than these 1st photos show. But anyway... where is the time going!??

I am also wondering if this is the kind of stuff we are supposed to be sharing in the buddy clubs??

So cute!!! When both of my girls were sitting up independently, that is when life got soooooooooooo much easier for me. I always say it was one of the easiest times to take care of them. I would be able to just put a bunch of toys in front of them and let them go to town. I could be in the kitchen cooking or go to the bathroom and know that they couldn't get hurt and that they were safe and would be in the same spot when I turned around for a sec. It was really the EASIEST time. Now I can't even eat a meal let alone cook a meal or take a pee without one or both babies grabbing onto my leg and looking up at me with the saddest, "But I love you. Don't you love me? Pick me up Pleeeeaaaaasssseee!!!!" look (followed by the hysterical cry if I don't pick them up). Really, enjoy this time it's sooooo much fun. Watching their sweet faces light up as they explore EVERYTHING from a vertical position is so darn cute. Did I mention that it was a really easy time for taking care of them ??

Oh, what fun! That's about the age Karis was when she started sitting up on her own. And, yes, it IS an easy and fun stage. Your girls are adorable...I loved Alyssa's funny expressions. :lol:

She really does make the best faces... she loves to entertain her big sisters and has already figured out how!! Crazy baby! Ashley on the other hand smiles at anything and everything... AFTER she has taken the time to assess the situation very thouroughly (sp)!! What different babies they are!

Do they get themselves into a sitting position or are you putting them there and theyhold themselves up?

I am putting them in the sitting position but they can get on to their tummies from sitting on their own (without "crashing")
