Since I am on strict bed rest with placenta previa, dh and I thought we should finalize the names. So here they are:

Jamie Genevieve (Genevieve is my maternal grandmother's name)
Kendall Frances (Frances is my paternal grandmother's name)

We have a 15 month old dd named Brooke so we thought all three were good names to have in our family.

What do you all think? Do you like the middle names with the first names or should we switch them?

I just realized we probably shouldn't switch the middle names because Kendall's initials would be KGB!!!! LOL

Anyway, any opinions are welcome : )

I really like your name choices. Each of your three DDs will have names that are so different from each other, it's really nice. The only thing to consider is that both Jamie and Kendall are unisex names, so there will be some confusion as your girls grow up over whether they're boys or girls (ie - when you register them for events, you'll have to say they're girls, whereas with Brooke you probably don't have to). I'd still keep the names you picked, just wanted to throw out that thought...

Thanks for the feedback. I actually talked to my dh last night and told him that I think the spelling for Jamie should be Jaime as it is more feminine and I don't know any boys with that spelling.

i like the names.. they are unique but very nice. i know a girl that we used to go to school with whose name was spelt Jaimee (instead of Jamie).. just putting that spelling out there. I think it makes it look more feminine. great choice in names.. and your girls will have a name thats pretty but isnt popular.. i think its a nice choice :)

I LOVE how you are using both of your grandmothers' names for middles names. But honestly, Jamie Genevieve is too much of the same sound for me. Are you set on Jamie? I really like Kendall Frances. :good:

I love the idea of using the grandmother's middle names...and they both are pretty names. My initial thought is they gave each a very different "feel" which may very well suit their personalities! Jamie Genevieve sounds "pretty/exotic" and Kendall Francis sounds "practical/intelligent" . :)

My husband LOVES the name Jamie and it was the one name that was on both of our lists so I think it is pretty final. I am the last chance to keep Genevieve going on so I just can't give that one up.

Thanks for the advice : )

Lots of boys use the spelling Jaime, because that's how the man's name is spelled in Spanish! But of course it's pronounced Hah-I-may. I like Jamie or Jamee, I'm not real in to non-traditional spelling, it makes my job as a teacher harder.

What I love about your choices is the two first names fit each other (in style) and the two middle names fit each other in style too.
I do like Kendall Genevieve and Jamie Frances as well, and don't think people would notice the KGB thing.

I love that you are keeping names in the family!

    Hi,
I do like the name better if you switch the middle names.
    Kendall Genevieve and Jamie Frances
and I agree that not a lot of people will notice about KGB abbr.

Thanks ladies! I think we could change the middle names and nobody will notice (or care) that the initials are KGB. For monograms, the B would be in the middle anyway. I am going to run it by my hubby.
