Last night hubby and I narrowed down the names and decided on what the girls first names will be.

    Alyx and Anya

Now we just need name suggestions for middle names. We are not using any family names this time and would like the middle names to start with the same letter...no letter in particular. Our last name starts with a J. Any fun suggestions?

Very cute names!! I like them. I would just be careful about using the same middle initial and therfore having the same 3 initials. My boys have the same initials and it was a disaster with insurance companies when they were born. They would only pay for one baby because they only thought there was one. (same birthdate/initials) Then we would get that figured out, they would pay and then months later, retract that payment for the same initial reason. It was a never ending process. It took almost 2 years for the boys NICU billing to be finalized. Just something to think about that I wish I would have known.

That being said I do agree with PP that same intials may be way too confusing down the line.

The J and the L and the Z combos are my favs.

Nice names, but I agree that letting them have their own middle initials will probably be a good thing in the long run.

    Cute names!

I also agree about not using the exact initials with the same birth date as one you get insurance problems over, new ones will start. Credit companies with think they are the same person when they are young adults.

But you if you want to give them a special "twin" connection how about two middle names that have the same meaning? You can use name websites to search a meaning you like and it will pull up all the names with that meaning.
or you could do a match set like Joy and Hope or Grace. If those are too popular for you right now how about two flowers, Like Rose and Lily or Violet? or two gem names like Ruby and Jade or Saphire? Or two other nature names like Willow and Sage or Skylar.

What about colors for middle names? My twin sister's name is Rosaline Turquoise (Rosie for short) and i think a lot of color names are pretty
