We HAVE Dilation!!!

LOL!! Only one centimeter dilated but hey - it's a starting point!

I weighed in at 183 pounds which is one more pound this past week! So not bad - a total of 38 pounds - which isn't too bad at all

My blood pressure was 120/70 which is a little higher than "normal" for me - but is still just fine

When he measured my belly - it was between 38-39 weeks pregnant! WOW!

He then looked for the babies heartbeats - and they were there and beating well - Baby A is still WAY head down --- and Baby B who was way up in my right ribs last Friday has now twisted and turned and moved her head at least half way down my belly --- so her head is mid to low right side belly --- YEAH BABY B!!!!!!!!!

Then he decided to check my cervix and pronounced that we are ONE CENTIMETER DILATED! WHOA!

That kinda really brought EVERYTHING fast forwarding!!! LOL!!!

Then he started talking about how we'd deliver - when we'd deliver - etc

He said unless I go sooner -- it looks like we will set things up to induce between 36-37 weeks he said which is the week of February 19th!!!! OMG!!! That's like a WEEK AND A HALF AWAY!!!!!!!! OMG! OMG! OMG! I'm totally freaking out!!!!

Hopefully we will make it that far - and not have to worry - but if they come earlier he won't do a thing to stop it now!!!

I just feel soooooooooooo good that we have made it this far!!! I would have never thought back in October and November we would still be pregnant right now and I feel so blessed to be so!!!

Yah for you!! Well done for keeping them cooking so long!!! Woohoo just think in the next 2 weeks you will be home with another 2 babies and wondering what sleep ever was! x

 

YAY hopefully those babies will come out when you want them too, I have been off bedrest for a week now and was 3cm 80% effaced at last appt and am STILL WAITING! Hopefully my shopping trip today will have kick started it!

YAY!!! i CAN'T WAIT TO READ YOUR BIRTH STORY!!

 

At 35 w I was dilated to 1 cm. Went into labor the next day. When I checked into the hospital I was 3 cm. So things can definitely happen quickly.

 

How exciting! Can't wait to hear your birth story! Keep us posted!
