We have a walker!

Henry is now taking steps. I saw him do it last night but my husband didn't believe me. Daddy came home from work today and Henry took a couple of steps over to give him a hug.

I am putting my head in the sand now and denying that life just got harder.

:woo: Henry! Yes, life does get a little harder with a walker but then at some point it does get easier because they can do more for themselves. Hang in there!

 

WTG Henry! :clapping: Make sure you take lots of videos; you'll love to go back and watch them when your boys are running all over the place.

FWIW, I didn't find it too much harder when they were walking. There were a couple of months when you had to walk behind them to make sure they didn't clunk their heads on stuff, but my guys were also such fast crawlers that I had a hard time keeping up with them then! :lol:

 

YAY welcome to the world of mobility!! :laughing: It actually starts to get easier, in a few months you'll be able to walk them to the vehicles one holding onto each hand...that makes life much more manageable! You'll also take a chance and go to the grocery store for a couple of items without the stroller *gasp*! Adventure, here you come!

 

Next thing you know, they'll be climbing on the big sign at a birthday party like Tarin's boys were!!

 

Orion just started walking a couple of weeks ago, too. It's different, but not as bad as I thought. Yay Henry!

 

Oh I am sure they are going to climb.
