We have a date!!! :)

I had an OB appt today and we've set the date!! If they don't come earlier, the c-section is scheduled for Jan 31st. Which is WONDERFUL because I just couldn't fathom the idea of carrying into Feb.

She reviewed the last U/S info and is a little, teeny bit concerned about their fluid levels. Not because its low, but because its on the "too high" side. She wants to see me weekly til our bday date and I'm going in twice weekly now for NSTs and BPPs. She said she wants to keep a close eye on how the placentas are holding us with all that extra fluid. She also said having lots of fluid increases my chances of having my water break spontaneously and it can apparently increase their chance of getting tangled up in the cord or having a cord prolapse. So, they're keeping a close eye.

Oh! And I had my first BPP today and they both got 8/8. So, all together it was a very long, but very good day.

Whoo-hoo, congratulations on setting the date! It sounds like you had a great appointment today and your OB is on top of things.

 

Congratulations on having a date! Wow... now you can say for sure you will have your baby girls this month!

I forgot to mention that I also have to get an amnio on the Monday before our date (so, the 29th?). I'm so nervous about the amnio, but I'm trying not to think about that right now.

Congratulations on the date! Sorry to hear about the increased fluid but it sounds like they are taking great care of you! Woohoo, the end is in site! Great job Momma!!

 

Sounds like an overall great appt.!! Hopefully the increased fluid will not become a problem. Isn't it so exciting to say you are going to have your babies this month!! We will be having our babies one week apart!! I go in for an amnio on Jan. 22 which I'm also a little nervous about and our c/s is scheduled for Jan. 24!! I'm on the countdown!! I will be thinking about you too!!

 

Congrats on the date and finally an end is in sight! Good to know your doctors are watching you and your babies closely!
