we have a date...

So, let me start by saying that I got no sleep last night and was really irritated with DH because he suddenly wanted to talk at 3am and woke me up, then he went right back to snoring..So I didnt fall back asleep until 5 and woke up when he left for work around 730. So, was determined I was going to be upset with him all day..

My mom, aunt, and cousin were coming up for the day and going to the doctors appt with me. I had a 150 appt for a NST and doctors visit.

By 3pm I was out of the waiting room finally, hadnt yet done the NST because they seem to schedule another twin lady and myself 10minutes apart on the same day and they only have one machine, has happened twice this week. And Im always SOL.

My mother--who is the identical twin of the family went in with me. Im measuring 40, at 35 weeks, both heartbeats were good. Doc came in and decided to do an ultrasound to check the babies position. To my SHOCK--both babies are headdown.. No wonder Im walking like the hunchback of Notre Dame, and feel someone scraping my pelvic bone.
so much for the C-section I figured I was having, and prepared myself for. I knew I should have taken those prenatal birthing whatever classes. I had a c-section 14yrs ago.
Next week, I go in for NST's, I do a BPP Wednesday at the peri's office. I havent been too happy with the peri lately.

So, my doctor will be out of town all next week on a boyscout trip and when he returns June 8th after my 150 doc visit, I will be checking into the hospital and he will be breaking my water..either that day or the next morning, he said we will be having babies that week, No later. June 7th is my sons b'day.

I do know, that my doctor for some reason he feels that it is safer to take the babies between the 36-37 week mark, break down in placenta, babies slow down in growth, and I think that he has another personal reason that he prefers to take them around that time, I didnt ask because I trusted his judgement.
Im still thinking wow...I also gained 4lbs over the past week, that's the most weight I've ever gained over even a 2-3 week period of time, which Im happy about.
I had a freakout moment, with the wow, babies, it could be like for real, seriously, no crap, any day now. what am I going to do with 2 babies.. I wanted to cry and laugh that I was insane and that I wanted to be pregnant, waddle and miserable and ask the doctor to not take them out. I was having A serious MOMENT..

sorry, had to tell someone. thanks for listening. it still hasnt sunk in, Im not sure if it will over the next week. Hopefully, I wont get too out there and in the what if field. I think thats awesome both babies are head down as that happens in about 40% (or less) of twin pregnancies. I didnt take any birthing classes and I did well, Im sure you will too!!!
Trust in your body and if something isnt feeling right, change positions, pee often, do whatever you need to do to relax as much as possible.
Im super excited for you! You're going to be in love!!!!
