i gave the girls a little creamy peanut butter and grape jam on toast and they lovvvvvvvedd it.. no allergy thank god.. but it was great for lunch .. i couldnt believe how they ate it.. so if anyone is worried about a reaction.. i know the worst that could happen is a rash..no anaphalaxis .. so if they are of age.give it a try u wont be sorry !!!!! Good for you. We were told to wait until 2.

PBandJ is a staple around here!!! They are slowly getting tired of it. I guess it's just too easy for me to make [IMG]

Glad they like it!! [IMG] We got the go ahead at 1 yr., but if the doc had told us otherwise we would have waited too!!

We waited until they were 2 because of family history and some other concerns...I was SO HAPPY there ended up being no problem. It's great to have PB&J as an option. It's portable and almost every home you step into has the makings! Gotta love PB&J...congrats! [IMG]

OMG I can't wait to introduce PB. We have been told age 2 (we have history of food allergies). However, apparently DD has already been introduced to PB from her aunt, who unknowingly gave her a PB and chocolate rice cake. LOL I wasn't upset since it didn't cause any problems. So I expect DD will be ok with PB&J in only 1 1/2 months! Hopefully DS will--he has egg allergy and I have shellfish allergy--I really hope we get the go-ahead, although I would understand why if we didn't. I just REALLY look forward to other food options. We too were told to wait until age 2. My boys didn't really take to it at first, but now...they LOVE it!
