We had a GREAT day today!

For all the times I come in here and whine about a rotten day, I figured it was about time I shared a HAPPY day!!!

Last night, I put the boys to bed around 6, then went in to check on them before I went to bed at 10. They were stirring slightly, so I fed them each for a few minutes until they were back in a deep sleep. I then went to bed.

And slept until 6AM!!! No wakeups!!!! (Joel has been teething, so this is a friggin' miracle!)

Then, we went to Joel's orthotist for a 3D scan of his head today. He's been in the helmet for 6 weeks, so this marks what should be the halfway point if all goes well with the remolding. AND, they told me that his head is now basically in the "normal" range, so he should be able to stop wearing the helmet in just four weeks!!! YAY!!!!!!!

 

:banana: Yay for a good night of rest and for soon-to-be helmet free!!

Yay for sleeping til 6am and congrats on only 4 more weeks of helmet-wearing! How exciting for ALL of you!

 

Yeah for the good days. It does get better and better and better. Mine are so much fun now b/c they are very active and love to play. Hang in there. You will start having more good days than bad very very soon. Yeah for the good news about the helmet.

 

Woo Hoo!!!!!! That is great sleep was good. How exciting that soon he will be helmet free!!
