It looks like our babies will be sort of Christmas babies. Our big day is 12/26 at 9:30 am. At our appointment today, baby A (Sophia) is still breech and weighs 6lbs and 2 oz and Luke (B) is transverse and weighs 5lbs 12 oz. We had the choice of having the procedure on 12/24 or 12/26 and I did not want to be in hospital for Christmas, so the 26th was the winner. I am not dilated yet nor have I been experiencing anything other then very irregular BH contractions. They also did a throat culture on me because I was up most of the night with an ear ache and throat on fire on one side.
So prayerfully, I don't have strep and the babies will hold out until their big day!

My husband asked me if we should have the whole family over for Christmas. I said, no. It would be too much.

Congrats! My C-section is scheduled for the same day and time! Although I've been in and out of the hospital for the past couple weeks due to PTL so they drs don't think I'll make it to the date. Congrats on making it as far as you have!!

    Hope your throat feels better.

I am so excited for you :) I think it is smart not to have every over. Will be your last day to relax :)

Thanks for all the good wishes! I do not have strep, Thank God! The babies passed their NST (though they always go for a biophysical profile, their movements are not strong enough, 7:30am is way too early for the two of them to get their day started!).

We need to have a special thread for those of us who are delivering on 12/26. The after Christmas babies spectacular! I keep telling DH that he is going to have to keep me in line when they get the inevitable Christmas/birthday present. My mother would silently fume when people would do that to me when I was kid and my b-day is on 12/9. She thought it was rude to say something but after the people left I remember her saying to my father, "Don't people realize it's two seperate days???" DH says its unavoidable and we will have to be gracious about it, which is true.

The woman who scheduled my c-section is 72 years old and a twin herself. She said that she and her twin brother were born two days apart because no one realized at the time that there was another baby in there until her mother had gotten a really high fever. Can you imagine???

Well I can imagine the babies born born days apart. But can't imagine it being from someone not knowing there was another baby there.

Glad you have a date, and glad you told your DH no for having everyone over on Christmas.
