Our living room had become the playroom since the girls were born. First with the pack n play, swings, bouncies, and jumperoo. As they got older that stuff was replaced with a gigantic toybox and learning tables and ride on toys. Now all they have is a cabinet under the TV that has all toys but at least that's hidden behind doors. We finally moved a coffee table and end tables back into the living room and put the lamps back on the tables. Today, for the first time in almost three years, our living room is just a living room. I'm so happy!! :clapping:

Too funny! I can't wait to get our living room back. We still use the pack n play only this time it is to block them from going into the kitchen.

    Yay for you!

I will have a real living room for the first time in 4 yrs, in a couple of months when I move into my own place. The kids will have an official "Play room"! Its going to be great to tell them to keep the toys in the toy room. That way their bedroom will be for sleeping, and the living room will be for relaxing.. :D Hopefully this will help keep the house a little cleaner! I may need to get rid of some things so they will actually have room to play in the 'play room'. ;) (they have A LOT of stuff)
