I am very proud of my two little girls and shocked that we have made it to 30 weeks. I had a PTL scare at 24 weeks but since then my cervix has stayed the same. I know this is a huge goal and I am just so happy to see it come and go! Next stop 34 weeks and then as long as I can go. You ladies have been great the last few months. Thank you for always having an answer or nice words to say. Just one question.... I'm sure it's been asked a million times but for those of you that your twins stayed in the same position through most of your pregnancy.... did they ever turn and when? My twins have been breech & transverse since 22 weeks (actually I think 20 weeks and tech was wrong at the 20 week scan b/c baby A is in a sideways sort of breech). We really really want a VBAC but until baby A goes head down it's not an option. So since they have stayed the same for 10 weeks and not moved my Dr. seems to think they may never move. Anyone have twins not do the flip all over and stay the same until delivery or stay the same and flip at the end? I know a alot of you have twins that flipped all the time but I haven't heard of to many that had twins that stayed the same and flipped right before delivery......anyone? Well we have out next u/s on Mon (19th) and I'm hoping baby A is head down! Thanks again everyone!
Jennifer, :yahoo: Congrats on 30 weeks!!! As for the turning, my two flipped when I was around 31/32 weeks and my ds went head down and dd went across the top. I hope you get the VBAC you want.
Mine were both head up till about 30 weeks, then they both went head down. Baby A was face up though, and they turned him during delivery (OUCH)! And CONGRATS on your milestone, that is AWESOME!!!
Congratulations on reaching 30 weeks! My twins stayed in the same positions for my entire pregnancy. Baby A was footling breech with his feet tucked under Baby B's head, which was riding really low in my pelvis. They were like this at 18 weeks and were still the same at 37w3d when I had a c-section Lots of babies flip at the last minute, even if you think there's no room. I think mine didn't because of A's feet being trapped under B's head. Good luck to you!
Hej mine both turned head down at 32 weeks, my next scan is on Monday and I will be almost 36 weeks then so we will see if they are still co-operating.
I am holding my breech Baby A right now (this little baby signed me up for surgery!). The very first u/s showed transverse/transverse. Only 1 time for about 2 days was he vertex. Otherwise, he sat on the right side of my uterus, breech, for the entire time. My Baby B was transverse, underneath my ribs, the entire pregnancy. I tried everything, but figure there must have been something wrong with B's placenta or my uterus, b/c it's just not natural! I really hope yours flip and hang out to full term! Yay for 30 weeks!!! I am eager to cross that milestone as well. Mine were head down as of yesterday, really hoping they are vertex (especially baby A) when the time comes.
