We did a very fun thing yesterday.. snow day...beach day!

Hi Folks,

I took your advice and got my gals outside in the snow in our yard. It was great sledding and packing snow! We ran around a lot, pretended to be chased by snow monsters and did lots of sledding down a small incline.

When we got inside we were chilled so I got out the space heater and we decided to pretend we were at the beach! We brought out beach chairs and beach hats, turned on a Beach Boys CD and ate hotdogs and drank lemonade. It was so much fun! The best part- they NAPPED for nearly 2 hours afterward for the first time in weeks- so did I!

I am so glad we got to enjoy a snow day because I doubt we will get more this year. I am also glad the gals like the beach as much as I do.....

Sounds fun!!! WE played in the snow the other day too and the boys had a blast helping daddy shovel the drive way!

Oh, yes, that's the other very great thing about snow -- it CONKS them out! Yay for naps!
