We closed a chapter today!

    I have to shout from the rooftops to somebody! But after three years, 2008, 2009, and 2011, Anthony is ALL DONE with his hypospadias repair surgeries!! :yahoo: :yahoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

    He had his followup today with the surgeon, four months since the surgery. And he actually had to pee while we were there. So he sat on the toilet and held his penis back into the toilet. The doctor was thrilled.

    Then he gave a quick exam and was very happy with the end result. He said, "He's all set. You are all done with us!"

    I had no idea I would be emotional over this! Just thinking of the surgeries he's been through(the last the worst) and how amazing he's been through all of them, he's just an amazing kid. As we left the doctor, I was telling him he was all done with surgeries and going to this doctor. He said, "Ya. Because there's no more pain. The doctor took my pain away." Not that there was pain...the pain was from the surgery the doctor did! :laughing:

    Hypospadias-see ya later!

    YAY!!! You all did an amazing job dealing with the surgeries and the challegnes that followed! I am sure you are SO relieved to be done with it all! :clapping: :clapping:

    (And thanks again for helping us get through our surgery!)

    Congratulations!!! I'm so happy for you and Anthony. :D We had our final post-op visit for Jack this fall and I know exactly how relieved you must be. :hug: We'll just have to have a voiding study later in the year, then we'll kick our (wonderful) urologist to the curb! ;)
