We are having....

TWO GIRLS!! We knew that this was going to be girls We both said
this morning and Emily said it on Monday. They were more than
cooperative for us today I thought I would of been a little
disappointed, but I am actually quite excited. Emily is going to have
sisters, I get to use her baby clothes plus my sis is giving me
hers....my other sister who has a boy and girl said she gives up on
her sisters having a boy, and she is selling her boy clothes in a
garage sale . They also get to share clothing, and I am just
excited!! DH is doing ok. He said his nephew isn't allowed to move
out since he needs a male around I know he will be in his glory
though when they get here.

Both girls are doing great. They are are measuring 17w4d which is
right on track, and weigh 6.5 ozs each. My cervix is 3.8cm, and doc
is happy with that. When the tech was measuring my cervix, the power
went out in the hospital for about a minute. She lost the
measurements, but all the pics were there, so she didn't have to start
over. They do have 3D, but they were not turning out right, so maybe
next time. Also found out that Emily can come, she would just come in
at the end of the u/s. So she may go when I go April 27th.


The doc said that my wk 26 u/s is a big one. If my cervix is long,
and my (I think) FFN test is negative, than he said that really
reduces my chance of preterm labor....so I am praying that it goes
well.


So we are super happy about today. Tech was great and we liked the
doctor. DH had to pick Emily up and bring her back since there was
going to be an hour wait for the doctor. The doctor was sooo good to
her.


Now we have to pick two girl names. I went through about 5 of them
with Emily so this will be interesting.

Congrats on the girls...looks like everything is going as good as it can! We are also having 2 girls and found out at 20 weeks, but still haven't settled on any names as of 28 weeks. Hopefully its easier for you....

YAY!!!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!

 

Girl twins are fun....just wait until they're 3 and they "style" each others hair (tangle it with combs and brushes), wait until they say "we're twin sisers", and when they double tag team your make-up bag and make a "lipstick painting" in the bathroom.

Congrats! How exciting for you and DH and Emily? Was she so excited that she is going to have 2 baby sisters?

At least you know you'll have lots of girl stuff from Emily's old stuff, and your family!
