Seriously, I'm 25 weeks along with my second set of twins. I'm having trouble walking around Target or the grocery store already. I don't think it happened this early last time - closer to 30 weeks before I started feeling pain, uncomfortable-ness just walking around.

I did speak to my OB's nurse, she said I didn't give my body much time to recover from the first set of twins, AND I'm having twins again, so it's normal. I realize she's right (we didn't know it would only take 2 months to get pregnant this time!!! and we NEVER exepcted another set of twins! NEVER). Still - I'm just worried about how beat up I feel already. Did anyone else go through this, even if your second was a singleton?

    Thx.

Oh my goodness!! I am having one this time and I feel your pain!! With my twins and they are 4 now!! at the end I felt lots of vaginal pressure and sharp stabbing pains down there. I am already feeling that way with this little guy! and I went to the mall yesterday big mistake!! I am also bigger this time! I weigh like 5 pounds less now than I weighed the day I had them!! By July I may not be able to walk!!

Yes, I would say it has been harder this 2nd time around. I'm also having my 2nd set of twins, but it's been six years since the first set. I am 35 weeks this week and I slowed down earlier. It won't be like this for everyone since I was put on partial bed rest at 28 weeks after a 9 day hospital stay for bleeding and contractions. However, I don't go do groceries or any of that anymore. My wonderful hubby does it. I go out maybe twice a week: church and doctor visits.

My doctor has been great about giving me suggestions on how to possibly be more comfortable. But mostly, it's just been getting used to the new level of what I can (or can't) do and being creative.

It's difficult on some days, but you can do it. Just hang in there! :good:

Dont scare me!! I am only 14 weeks with our second set. 3 yrs between ours.. I did get sick earlier.. 5 weeks versus 9 weeks the first time. I started feeling better around 14 weeks the first time.. Hoping that happens this time!! Good luck to you!! Wow, 16 months apart! Will be hectic for abit but so much fun yet when all wanting to do the same level of things later!! Take it easy :youcandoit: Hey, you maybe said but you know what you are having? See the first set are girls! Us too!! And they said at my high risk doc the other day one was for sure a boy and the other one looked like it too!! Not buying blue yet.. too early but fun to think about!
