Usually a little water between four to six months is O.K. I would say you could start water with your girls ifyou wanted.

At this age I didn't do much straight water because they choke on it(or at least mine did). I game mine 1/4 juice 3/4 water when we started sippies. When they turned 15 months I started only giving milk at meals and bed time and give water or watered down juice in every sippy.

At about 5-6 months I started to fill a sippy with water and put it on the coffee table and when ever they wanted a drink it was there for them. They love drinking out of a sippy, now they go through two sippy cups of water a day.

Mine also do not like water so I am watering it down with powdered formula actually and then working on making it water. They don't like juice either.

It's nice to see you post! [IMG]

We started with a little bit in their bottles at 2 months. I'm talking like a couple of ounces - per week! We now do an ounce or two a day in their sippies to get them used to using the sippies and used to drinking water.
