water intake

how much water are we suppose to be drinking each day?

 

I was told to drink around 2 quarts per day

 

at least 64 oz. which is 8oz glass x 8 glasses a day.

I have a water bottle that is 27 oz. and i refill it 3 times a day.

the more fluids you take in the less constipation you will have.

 

My daughter who is 14 weeks-4 days had to go to the OB-GYN outpatient center last night for a bladder infection. They told her to drink 8-10 8oz glasses a day on top of what she was already drinking. She wasn't drinking enough. Drink Up and good luck.

 

My glass is 20 oz and I drink porbably at least 5 per day but I've always drank alot of water.

 

I have heard close to a gallon a day...I personally struggle with it every day, but I have a big polland springs bottle that I try to fill as many times as I can....It really does help, I notice I have more energy, cramp less, and feel alot better when I drink more.....its just getting it down thats the struggle

 

I read somewhere that your intake w/ twins should be 80-100 oz. I drink 100+ most days. I don't go anywhere w/o my water...in fact I have a case of it in my car so I can just grab one when I need it if I'm out running around. And I carry a big 30oz bottle around the house all day that I usually refill twice. I read that dehydration is a big cause of preterm labor, so the way I look at it is better safe than sorry. I do notice that I have more b/h's if I've not been drinking enough throughout the day.

with the twins, I drank at least 100oz a day.

 

I too drink 100oz which is a little over 3 liters a day.

I know it is hard, but you can do it.

if you get tired of plain water, try crystal light. i drank a pitcher a day.

Ditto I've heard a gallon.Although I have not reached that mark yet. I only drink about 5 glasses a day and that's a struggle. But word to the wise drink alot because you do not want a UTI today I found out that my exscruciating stomach & back pains which landed me at labor & delivery one midnight because I thought something was wrong-were due to a UTI. This is my 2nd UTI since pregnancy and I don't want anymore so I will really push more harder to reach that gallon a day mark. :excl:

I was drinking over 100 oz a day, closer to 200 oz at the end (and still dehydrated!!). (But I'm a chugging champ, and at the beginning I was drinking 64-100 oz.)
