warm sleepers in big sizes

Now that the nights are getting chilly, I need something warmer to dress the babies in. I've been putting them in long sleeves/pants and fleece sleep sacks at night, but last night they still felt cool to me.

Ideally I'd like thick, warm one-pc sleepers. Footie ones would be nice. The higher the cotton content the better, I don't like synthetics. And they need to come in sizes bigger than 6-9 mo - I want them to fit all winter, and my babies are BIG! (DD is going to outgrow Old Navy 12-18 mo soon, she's so tall - 95th percentile for a baby 2 months older than she is! )

I just took a quick look online (Target) and didn't see anything that fits the bill. Where have you found good stuff? There is just no time to shop...

    TIA :)

The Children's Place has wonderful sleepers and go way up in sizes. Also, do you have a Carters outlet near you? You can also buy Carters stuff at Kohls and Penneys.

I have a couple of the gerber 6-9 month fleece footy sleepers for the girls (SIL got them at Walmart I think), but they also come in bigger sizes. Looks like if you sign up to be a 'preferred parent' you can save $4 too.

Also, I have some sleepers from the children's place that are nice and cozy. Not sure on the sizing though since my girls are still in 3-6 and 6-9 month stuff and its probably a little pricier than gerber.

For the thick I would try Carters. They have some nice stuff. But I agree with the PP about the Childrens Place. They have really nice footed pj's (cotton) that I used put under a sleeper or sleep sack.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the ones from Carter's. We have a bunch for our girls and they are so soft and warm and I like how they aren't ridiculously snug in the arms like some other brands.

I know BRU, Kohl's, Macy's sells Carter's. I'm sure there are other places too I'm not thinking of.

Another vote for Carters. I know we got them at Kohls. I saw some yesterday at Childrens Place that went up to 4T. The target by my house has them up to 2T, but they may have bigger in another section. Good luck!!

I love the carter's fleece sleepers, Walmart has thesmaller sizes (premie-12 mos) but the bigger sizes I found @ SAM'S. Their about 7.99 to 9.99 a piece.

I have my 4 yr old in footie pajamas from Walmart these last few nights that it's been colder (we have an older drafty house)...I've found them in sizes all the way up to 5T! I just love those things!

Costco has some sleepers, also Kohl's, ditto Carter's and The Children's Place.
