Hi, I have yet another question! You all are so helpful!
My twins are 21 weeks and my DS, in the past couple of days has really pink warm/hot cheeks. It started with just his right cheek but now it's both.. He doesn't have a fever but has been mellow lately, sleeping a lot and a bit fussy too... Has anybody else had this? Is it possibly teething? I don't see anything yet...
    Thanks!

could be teething. Is he drooling a lot? Ryan gets very rosy cheeks when he is teething.

He doesn't seem to be drooling more than normal, but this kid drools a ton on a regular basis, so it's hard to tell. He has been chewing on his hand a lot too, and his sisters if he can get a hold of it!

Could be teething? Do you think he could be over heating. My DD get that way really easy when she is hot. It is getting warm outside. Try putting him in just a onsie and see if that helps.

I too was going to say teething or overheated. Emma gets the blazing cheeks when her body is just too hot. Feel his belly or his back to see if he's warm.

I'm not sure. If I had to guess though, I would blame teeth!

I would guess teeth, too, but double check to make sure he's not getting too warm.

Mine always got those warm, pink cheeks when they were teething. If there are no other symptoms, that would definitely be my guess!

Mine would get that way when they were getting sick. Could just be from all the drool though.

Thanks! I do think he's teething... He's not over heated, we have central AC and I keep it cool in the house... but I hadn't thought of that! I just went in and checked on him and his cheeks are really pink and warm and the rest of him is cool as a cucumber! I actually put socks on him cause his toes were freezing!
I'm glad to read that I'm not alone in this!

My girls also get this when they have wind burn. Was he outside in a breeze?

Mine get this from eczema. Feel the cheek to see if its flat or raised a little - if a little raised, can be some over the counter steroid cream on it. Could also be Fifth's disease which is characterized by a slapped cheek appearance. I'd ask your pedi about it.
