Waking each other up?

My twins seem to wake each other up during the night. My smaller twin has been getting up during the night for a feeding and shortly after the other twin wakes up. However, if the smaller twin sleeps all night, so does the other one. I thought people said their twins could sleep through the other one crying? I had planned on them sleeping together, but I've separated them for this reason. Sometimes I wish they were in their own rooms too! Just wondering what the rest of you have experienced.

My babies wake each other up after naps, if one wakes, the other wakes soon. At night, though, if one wakes, the other usually stays asleep. You might just have light sleepers, in which case I would be inclined to separate them too!

Mine are separated right now. With that being said, I am going to put them in the same room here very soon. Although, I think I am going to keep them separate for their naps. I am looking forward to having my bedroom back.

Mine are light sleepers too and that is why they have been seperated since about 2 months old. They sleep fine together during naps now, so I am going to try to transition them in the same room soon.

ditto! i don't know why but they are pretty light nappers. if they are in the same room, i can't get them to go mroe than 30 mins. or so, but seperated, DD sleeps much longer, and DS at least 45 mins. Hopefully it is something they eventually grow into.... we'll see..... good luck!

mine did that for a short while then they got used to hearing each other and started sleeping through the other's noise. Ours sleep in different cribs pushed against each other in a "L" shape. WE've not taken them out of the same room.

mine play with me I swear. sometimes one is screaming and the other one sleeps through it, then other times one barely sneezes and they both wake up. I think it all depends on what stage of sleep they happen to be in too. my DD sleeps more soundly also, but DS is lighter sleeper. they still co-sleep but I am thinking of transitioning to seperate cribs side by side since they are starting to move around while sleeping more, which also is waking both of them up! ;)
