I just bought the Step2 Wagon for Two for the twin's 1st birthday. I put Anthony in it yesterday (after a screaming schpeel) and I'm so nervous wheeling him around because I'm afraid the baby sitting farther from you is going to fall out! I know they have seat belts that appear secure, but when I hit a little bump in the road, I turn around frantically to make sure he didn't fall out. I need my mind eased!

I had that fear at first too but they have never fallen out. We started using it when they were one and our sidewalks aren't perfect, so don't worry to much momma. Let them enjoy... and you enjoy it as well. Mine LOVE that wagon. :good:

They will learn to  it!! If it tips, they could spill out...but unless they stand you are in great shape! Try not to worry about!

hi if you are not comfortable with them in it thenI would wait a year. Do they have good balancing skills yet? they are still developing their neck muscles among others and a hard bump could hurt them. Hence the new thing to keep your baby rear facing in a carseat as long as the seat allows, not turning at 1 yr 20 lbs which most parents do.

I would wait until they are 2 IMHO. We got one when our boys were 18 months and it was ok but they kept climbing out. I do not have the seat belt kind tho.

We got a wagon for the boys when they turned one and they love it. I wouldnt worry, as long as they are buckled in they should be fine.

Looks like the recommended age is 18 months, maybe wait until then?

I think 1 yr is a little young but it really depends on your children's tempraments and what you think they are capable of.

Our boys LOVE their wagon. I would just make sure that the seatbelts are snug on them and they will be just fine. We use ours EVERYWHERE! We keep it in the foyer, and put the boys in it to take them to the car, and I put it in our van to take when we go out. I use it much more than either of my strollers. My guys are 14 months old. We got it for their birthday.

Enjoy and Relax! (I know easier said than done!)

We have the same one, the boys got it for Christmas. I know it is hard not to worry but they will be fine. We have some very bumpy roads and sidewalks and with the seat belt they are more than fine :)

I love our wagon, but for a different reason. The girls will rarely sit in it. One will push and one will pull and it keeps them heading in the same direction, which always beats them heading off in opposite directions!

We started using our Step 2 wagon at 1 year old as well & the girls LOVE it.
I keep the seatbelts really tight & they just sit & enjoy the ride!
If I know we are going to go up any hills (or down any hills) or anything like that then we use our stroller instead for now till they get a little bigger :good:
    Good luck & have fun!
